Pakistan team is looking to maintain their better record against India in Champions Trophy – Sarfraz Ahmad
The Pakistan cricket team is doing practice in Birmingham and the captain Sarfraz Ahmed is pretty confident that the whole team will be able to maintain their Champions Trophy superior record against the neighbours and arch-rivals. They are gearing up for a showdown against India in the coming month on 4 June.
Unlike ICC World Cup and T20 World Cup, the national team won two matches and lose one against India. This shows their positive record against in the competition against their neighbours. Sarfraz is looking to maintain the positive record against them due to this better record in the Champions Trophy. In a pre-tournament press conference, he clearly showed his confidence on the team.
Pakistan-India game is always special for the fans of both countries as well as for the cricket fans around the world. Both teams are preparing for this one game and want to get important points in the group stage.
Pakistan captain stated that the team has nothing to lose and everyone in the team will play his natural game. So far, the confidence of Pakistani team is high after winning the ODI series in West Indies, where many players played very well. Sarfraz is confident of winning the tournament on a high note.
